My Story.

This is my story of why I started my handyman service business as The Ancaster Handyman in order to provide the people of Ancaster with a local handyman service above and beyond their expectations. To serve the community where I live.

My Story starts in 2014 when I left my career as a senior mechanical designer to start my business as a handyman.

Why?

I kept hearing that it is hard to find a good handyman you can trust and who will come and do small jobs. After some investigation I found this to be true so I understand your frustrations and apprehensions about bringing a stranger into your house.

My Goals

My goals are to be the best handyman in Ancaster, to be trustworthy, friendly and reliable and to be easily found. If I say I will come and do your small job or list of jobs you can count on me being there when I say I will and giving your job my full attention. I will not bump your job because I have taken on another larger more profitable job.
Generally speaking, I don’t take on major renovation jobs. I like the variety and challenges of doing all your small jobs and it is hard to give small jobs the time they deserve when you are thinking about your next big job.

Accomplishments

I have accomplished these goals by being recognized as the best handyman in Ancaster for two years in a row by TrustedPros. By becoming a lifetime member of ACHP (the Association of Certified Handyman Professionals). This association sets the standards for running an ethical handyman business.

Anybody with a hammer and a truck can call himself a handyman but there are few who are Certified Handyman Professionals. Look for the ACHP logo. You can have the peace of mind that when you hire me you will be getting the best professional service available.
